Bright flashing lights
flashing green and red.
In the distance there are children, ready to sled.
Down the hill they slide, against a blanket of white.
Their noses are pink, from the frosty air.
and their hands are all wet.
but they won't let that end the time that they share.
Nothing could ever make them fret.
Until the snow melts they're content.
But too soon their mother calls for them all.
and the children throw their last snow ball.
And in their living room is where their evening is spent.
In nice warm clothes, on the couch they fall.
And they love they smell of that hot chocolate scent.
